According to the harvest and export report prepared by iQonsulting and the Chilean Fruit Blueberry Committee, week 50 (December 8-14) marked the peak of the season, with 11,019 tons exported, mainly to Continental Europe and the United States. During this period, the first shipments of the Brightwell and Cargo varieties from the Ñuble Region were also recorded.
Cumulative exports for the season reached 31,268 tons, representing a 56% increase compared to the previous season (2024-2025). Europe is the main market, accounting for 50% of total shipments, followed by the United States, with a 26% share.
Organic fruit accounts for 10% of total fresh exports, equivalent to 3,084 tons.
In terms of varietal material, renewed varieties account for 27% of the total volume, while traditional varieties account for 73%. Duke stands out with a 40% share, followed by Legacy with 20% and Suzie Blue with 16%.
In terms of regional origin, the largest volume comes from the Maule region, with 14,000 tons (45%), followed by the Ñuble region, with 8,000 tons (25%).
