According to information from Aneberries, Mexico exported 2,235 tons of conventional blueberries to the United States during week 6 (February 1–7), representing an increase of 269 tons (5%) compared to the previous week. The cumulative total for the season, from week 29 to week 6, reached 15,566 tons, 20% higher than the same period in the 2024–25 season.
Compared to the same week of the previous season, conventional shipments were 133 tons (6%) lower. Prices reported by the USDA for fresh conventional Mexican blueberries remained at US$6.37/kg, while Peruvian and Chilean blueberries were quoted at US$7.96/kg and US$7.03/kg, respectively.
Meanwhile, fresh organic Mexican blueberries recorded shipments of 118.4 tons during week 6, which is 46.9 tons (28%) less than the previous week. However, the seasonal cumulative total amounts to 971 tons, 214% higher than in the 2024–25 season. In addition, the weekly volume exceeded that of the same week last season by 53.9 tons, an increase of 84%.
Regarding frozen blueberries, cumulative shipments to the United States reached 355,653 kilos, 24% higher than the volume recorded through week 6 of the previous season.
Overall, considering fresh conventional, organic, and frozen blueberries, Mexico has exported 17,011 tons to the United States so far this season, 26% more than the previous campaign
