Global markets, the new season and genetics will be the main topics addressed during the blueberry program at Fruittrade 2026, which will bring together different players from across the fruit industry on September 29 and 30 at Jardines de El Mercurio in Vitacura.

The blueberry agenda will take place on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 29. The discussion will be moderated by Julia Pinto and will feature Patricio Muñoz, Associate Professor at UF/IFAS; Ernesto Pino, General Manager of Fall Creek Chile; and Rolando García González, General Director of SynergiaBIO.

Berries will also be part of the program from an agro-industrial perspective. That same afternoon, Benjamín Vásquez, Commercial Director at Comfrut, will present “An overview of the frozen berry market,” scheduled from 3:30 to 3:55 p.m.
